That being said, the moment that Gabriel shifts in the bed, he's wide awake and sitting straight in his seat. He doesn't have to wait long for Gabriel to fall away into smoke again, and panic races through him as he half-expects the smoke cloud to disappear under the door, lost forever.
Instead, Gabriel manages to get a hold on whatever's happening, reforming into himself. Jack takes a few seconds to study his face (as if he hadn't been doing plenty of that while Reyes was out), his mouth twitching when he's addressed as "Morrison." Professional to the end, huh?
