[ The problem being that Jack has none of the qualifications needed to diagnose what's going on here, or to help. Angela might actually be able to reverse whatever it is that Talon did to Gabriel. That's a conversation for later on, when he's ready to get into another argument. Right now both of them are too exhausted for that, and too overwhelmed by the sheer fact that they're in each other's presence.

As for what Gabriel looks like, it's mainly his skin tone that's worrisome. He's ashy and pale, like all of the blood has been sucked out of him. Or like he isn't quite alive, which might be closer to the truth, and more disturbing as a result.

Still, he's maintaining a solid form for now, so Jack will take it.

When Gabriel's hand lifts, Jack's filled with the urge to shift away, or even to stand up and make distance between them again. It's been a long while since anyone has touched him (getting punched doesn't count), and he's not sure if he's ready for it, especially not from Gabriel.

He forces himself to stay still, though, his brow furrowing and his stomach twisting as Gabriel's cold fingers run over the scar tissue. Once it's over he can't stop himself from letting out a breath. ]

Never liked it when you did, anyway.
