He watches as Gabriel pulls his hand back, and forces himself not to read too deeply into it. This is a lot all at once, and trying to sift through thirty years worth of interactions, with all the arguments and intimacy and everything else, isn't something that either of them are capable of right now.
Jack is relieved that Gabriel is here with him rather than captured by Talon, there's no question of that, but everything that comes next he's less sure on. He figures that he and Gabriel will figure their shit out, because they always did, but they also never had to deal with anything quite like this before.
And both of them are tired.
