[gerard way screeching in the distance]

The split second he's falling feels a lot more significant than it probably was, Snake's instincts catch him pretty quick, but one second there was a solid surface under him and then the next it was gone. Replaced by another Solid surface, he supposes. Raiden chuckles at his own little joke, more of a drunken snicker than anything as he lets Snake do whatever with him. He'd be powerless to resist right now anyway, whole body practically dead weight that he leans almost entirely on Snake, tracking water behind him as he drags his feet and drips everywhere.

"Hey," there's a significant delay between Snake catching him and Raiden's reaction, already walking to the couch when he looks at Snake with a toothy smile that doesn't come close to reaching his eyes, "you caught me." It comes out of him like the lead-up to a joke, but if there's a punchline it's not one Raiden deigns to share. Instead he's distracted by looking around at what he can see in here.

It just looks like a normal place, which is almost disappointing. Maybe all the cool stuff is hidden? It's not like Snake would keep that stuff out in the open. Raiden squints, trying to figure out where he'd hide it when his eyes land on a light switch-- it'd be genius. Some kind of secret code, flip it on and off in the right pattern and maybe something opens up?

There's a few seconds where his brain processes that thought and turns it into action, and then Raiden suddenly extricates himself from Snake's grip to stagger toward the switch and start experimenting with patterns. Morse code is the obvious choice, and it's probably some kind of anime thing if Otacon programmed it.

So here he is; drunk as shit, freezing cold, and trying to use the light switch to tap out 'gundam' in morse code.
