"I never said I doubted you," he says, bowing his head just a little toward the other man with a light hum that sits in the back of his throat, a noise that's as amused as it is happy. "I was just curious how many throw themselves at you after just a few words."
He mirrors the sharpness of Reynard's smile, not as sharp but still dangerous and cunning in his own fashion. "I hope I'll have taught you to make a little effort for whoever your attention flits to next."
