[Eames perhaps doesn't give things the amount of thought they deserve all the time. To one degree or another, he's always been at least a little impulsive, but his habit of looking at things in terms of what's practical instead of what they mean is an oversight that seems to be specific to dealing with Arthur.]

[Case in point: Arthur has a change of clothes at his place, because it only makes sense. If he's going to spend the night so regularly, he should have clean clothes to leave in the next day. The fact that Eames spent a good while rearranging his drawers when he got back to clear one out for Arthur is obviously only a logical continuation of that. Who really wants their only choice of clothing to be "whatever I wore when I was here last"? It doesn't mean anything except that Eames is wonderfully considerate and deserves a gift for his altruism.]

[Either way, it's done now and Eames is busying himself heating some leftover chilli for dinner. Arthur's supposed to be over at some point, but he has no idea when and he is a hungry man who missed lunch because of business reasons.]

[Arthur lets out a breathless laugh, resting his hand on Eames' chest affectionately. He feels like he probably doesn't have to tell Eames how good that was but the thought crosses his mind to anyway. Too bad he's too worn out to talk.]

[That's fine by Eames, he's just going to lay here and keep kissing Arthur's face and nuzzling at him affectionately a bit too.]

[Oh look is his ability to talk coming back? Yeah there it is.]

[He breathes a soft laugh, nosing at Arthur's cheek with a grin.]

[He lifts his head a little to look at Arthur and brushes his hair away from his forehead.]

[Arthur grins at him, just a touch bashful as he looks up at Eames' face. It's such a good face.]

[He's glad Arthur isn't protesting, and he keeps combing his fingers through Arthur's hair. He's just so beautiful anyway, but the way Arthur looks after sex is breathtaking that Eames could easily spend a while just looking at him.]

[Arthur keeps smiling, a little sleepy as he wraps his arms loosely around Eames' waist. His weight on top of him is so comforting and Arthur knows he could fall asleep like this.]

Eames just ducks his head for another quick kiss and shifts a bit to nestle his head in the crook of Arthur's neck to lay down properly and get some sleep.]

[Arthur knows he's going to be sore and sticky in the morning but this is so comfortable that he doesn't care. He sighs and hums happily, shifting just a bit more so he can doze off.]

[And sleep they do. Eames sleeps pretty soundly all night, eventually rolling off Arthur but only a little and mostly so he can cuddle up more comfortably. He could honestly spend all day like this if it were at all feasible.]
