[Breaking into a detective's house? Not the sort of risk Eames likes to take. Police are generally insufferable when it gets "personal," so the payoff has to be good to make it worth it.]

[He has no idea if this is going to be worth it, but Arthur has reciprocated. Initiated. Agreed that they should do this. And they can't exactly go out to a bar or even knock on eachother's door... Anything where they might be seen in a non-adversarial context, where Eames isn't being arrested or questioned. And he's staked Arthur out a few times, has a decent enough idea of his routine and the fact he doesn't often have anyone over.]

[Getting into Arthur's apartment isn't actually hard. It's an easy climb to in his blacks, and it's a better lock than most have on their windows, but not one he can't pick, and he's very quiet about stepping inside. Maybe he should call out to check Arthur's in, but he follows his instincts instead, reaching out with a gloved hand to pick up something on Arthur's table and look at it.]

[Arthur takes a deep breath and turns on his side, shuffling closer to Eames with a worn out smile.]

[Eames smiles back and leans closer to nose at Arthur's face for a kiss, slipping his hand around to Arthur's back with a soft hum. He's barely gotten to touch Arthur at all and that is a travesty. There might never be an opportunity again.]

[Arthur happily kisses him, all lazy and warm. Eames' hand feels good on him and he stretches out a little to encourage more of it.]

[Eames pushes his hand up Arthur's back, pressing his fingertips against the muscles in his upper back and his shoulders with a pleased hum.]

[Arthur brings his hand up to Eames jaw and lets out a soft, almost desperate hum. He never really thought too much about what this might feel like but it feels better than he could have imagined anyway. It feels easy and right somehow, in a way he can't describe.]

[Eames moves his hand back down Arthur's back, tracing the curve of his spine with his fingertips, and smiles a little when his palm finds Arthur's ass. He's happy at first just feeling it, like he's trying to memorise the shape and the feeling, but aftwr some of that he just decides to grab it and give it a squeeze with a very pleased noise against Arthur's lips.]

[Arthur lets out a soft laugh, wriggling a little bit into Eames' hand and humming.]

[Eames gives Arthur's butt another squeeze for good measure and relaxes his hand with a gentle sigh, leaving it resting there for now.]

[Arthur smiles and drags his fingernails lightly through the hair on the back of Eames' neck. There's a moment of silence before he speaks, soft and tired.]

Do you want something for your wrists?

[Oh, he hadn't even thought about that. He purses his lips in thought about that for a moment and nods.]

That's probably a good idea.

[Arthur hums in preparation for the whole getting up business, and then he regretfully pulls away and rolls off the bed to head to his bathroom. He comes back with some antibacterial cream and a roll of gauze, just in case.]

[Eames raises his eyebrows at the gauze, but he doesn't say anything about it. He just waits for Arthur to sit down, mostly waiting to see if Arthur's planning to do it or pass the stuff to Eames to do himself.]

[Arthur sits down and takes Eames' hand without even thinking about it, taking some of the cream and gently rubbing it over the red lines on Eame's wrist. He decides the gauze isn't really necessary and moves on to the other hand, giving it the same treatment.]

[It's actually really relaxing, Eames sighs happily at this treatment and closes his eyes. He could fall asleep like this.]

[Arthur smirks as he holds Eames' hand in his own, looking down at him almost affectionately.]

Falling asleep on me?

Not yet.

[He opens an eye and smiles up at Arthur.]

But that felt really nice.

Good.

[He wonders if he should let Eames sleep over or if he should usher him out, if indeed Eames thinks he can just fall asleep here. He really doesn't want him to go - honestly this level of serenity and satisfaction on Eames' face is kind of interesting and enticing and Arthur doesn't want it to stop.]

[So he puts everything aside and lays back down on his side facing Eames, content to just see how this goes for now.]

[If Arthur's not planning to kick him out, he'll probably sleep here. He's pretty worn out, plus his arms are still kind of sore, he doesn't really want to be climbing out any windows like this.]

[He hums and shifts a little closer when Arthur lays down and rests a hand on Arthur's hip. He's tired and sore, human contact is nice.]

[Arthur hums happily too, taking a deep breath and closing his eyes to settle in for some rest. After a moment a thought occurs to him and he furrows his brow.]

If you steal anything while I’m asleep I actually will arrest you.

[Eames laughs and shakes his head. He wasn't planning on it but now he's honestly a little tempted.]

I'd like to see how you explain that one to your boss.

I’d figure it out.

[He doesn’t know how yet but he would. Or maybe he’d just find an excuse to tase Eames the next time they meet in a professional setting. Either way is fine.]

I'll be honest, you're just making it more tempting.

[He loves doing stuff he's not supposed to do!!!]

[Sigh.]

Fine, steal my shit I don’t care.

[He laughs.]

I'll try to resist.

[Arthur drifts away into sleep pretty easily, despite his paranoia that Eames is going to take something. It's been an unexpected and incredible night and his body feels heavy on the mattress, so he knows it's going to be a good rest.]
