[Maybe it's a mischievous streak, something a little devious, but being able to change himself this way. Sometimes Eames just wants to do it for fun, there's nothing wrong with that. One could argue, however, there's something a little wrong with asking your partner to meet you for a drink without informing him you'll be looking a little different however.]

[Lucky for Eames, he doesn't think Arthur is somebody who'll make that complaint.]

[Especially not when he sees exactly who it is meeting him. It's been a while, but Delilah's memorable, Eames made her that way. Beautiful and graceful, she stands out yet rarely seems out of place. Especially not in the upscale bar Eames asked Arthur to meet him at.]

[Delilah comes in maybe ten minutes after Arthur, gently suggests to the person next to him that that seat should be hers and sits just a little closer than appropriate. Waiting first to be noticed, to see if Arthur recognises her or if she needs to make the first move.]

[Arthur nips at Eames' skin and gives him a final squeeze before he pulls away, seeking out his coffee.]

[Eames leans on the counter, just watching Arthur for a minute, and then he takes himself and his coffee into the living room with a silent hope that Arthur will come too so they can cuddle up on the sofa.]

[Arthur does follow him out, after a quick top-up on his coffee. He puts his mug down on the coffee table and proceeds to get all up in Eames' space on the couch, looking to be cuddled.]

[Eames wastes no time putting his arms around Arthur]

And to be fair, I told you I was planning to.

[Words can't describe how much he likes having these arms around him. It just feels so fucking good. He nestles in with a soft, almost giddy hum.]

[He laughs and gives Arthur a light squeeze.]

[Arthur's just going to enjoy this for the time being, comfortable in Eames' arms to the point of indulgence.]

[Eames hums happily and noses at Arthur's hair, just fully overcome with affection for this man. He adores him so much.]
