[Eames, for the most part, is pretty good at avoiding serious injuries, but things happen. People make mistakes, get caught out or outdone. Also weapons are a thing.]

[The upside is that Eames can take a lot of pain. The downside is that he is currently in a lot of pain. Battered and bloody with a few nasty wounds to show for it when he lets himself into Arthur's place. Arthur keeps a first aid kit, he knows that, and moreover he keeps some medical supplies he absolutely should not legally have. He tries to remember where Arthur keeps it, turning to go in his kitchen. Grabbing a sharp-looking knife in one hand as he starts looking through a cupboard he vaguely remembers as storage with little regard for the blood he's leaving everywhere. Calling Arthur's name at the same time to see if he's home.]

[Arthur spends some time there, but eventually he has to pull away with a remorseful hum. He pulls out and rolls away to take care of the condom, then rolls back onto his side to look at Eames.]

You want that potion now?

Nah. I'm good for a few more hours at least.

[He lifts a hand to curl his fingers under Arthur's chin fondly and then drops it to his chest.]

[That deepens Arthur's smile.]

You mind if I stay a little while?

Of course not.

[specifiercity]

[Arthur rubs Eames' forearm.]

It's good to see you're healing up.

[He smiles at the attention and nods slightly, agreeing.]

It'll be a few weeks before I'm all the way, but at least the worst of it seems past.

[Yes he knows it would be a hell of a lot worse for a human, it still sucks.]

Well you look a lot better than you did on my kitchen floor a few days ago.

[He huffs an amused laugh.]

What, you don't like me pale and bloody?

[specifiercity]

[Arthur grins at him, still soft and easy with post-coital bliss.]

Mm, it's not my favourite look.

[He laughs again.]

And what is your favourite?

[specifiercity]

[He gives Eames a once-over, appreciating the slight blush on his skin and the mess on his stomach. He inches closer and drops his voice a little.]

This one's definitely top three.
