[This is one of those moments in life where knowing something isn't the same as being at all prepared to face it. Eames has known all about the types of people Arthur works with for some time now; killers with an incredible strength and hunger just below the surface-- some much older than Arthur and stronger for it.]
[He doesn't know if that was the case this time, or what even caused the fight, but he knows that Arthur's in a bad dtate and getting hom home was a struggle. He eventually manages to get Arthur to the bed, laying him down as if he really knows what to do here.]
Arthur-- Arthur, look at me.

Arthur-- Arthur, look at me.

[It's really not even a question, and he's grinning as he looks up at the ceiling.]
You are stiff competition though.

I just like hearing you make all that noise.

[Bleased be the inventor of the electric razor tbh]

Let's not move for a long time.

I love you.

[Eames just sighs and puts his arms around Arthur because apparently this is his life for the next couple of hours.]

[That doesn't mean he leaps out of bed or anything but he does sigh happily and nuzzles in to Eames' chest a little more.]

You're too good to me.

[He says it with a small laugh in his voice, busying his hands with Arthur's hair and trailing his fingers up his shoulders and such.]

How's your arm?

[He takes a deep breath and considers getting up. He gets a little of the way there, pushing himself up off of Eames' stomach.]

I just have a few things to take care of before I turn in for the day, but I'll be right back.
[He gets up all the way and slips off the bed, not bothering with clothes at the moment.]
It's just a couple emails, I promise.

First you fall asleep on me, then you leave me.
[H U F F]
[It's good-natured, but still. Huff.]

[Arthur's feeling far too wonderful to be successfully guilt-tripped like this, and he saunters out to find his computer and address this darn emails he keeps talking about. It really only takes him about twenty minutes to get through them, and then he comes back to Eames' room still completely naked to see if he's still laying down and available for cuddling.]

Bring me anything?
no subject
[He comes over and leans in for a very domestic kiss.]
Did you want something other than that?
no subject
Some chocolate might've been nice. Or a biscuit. Maybe a new watch...

[That's Arthur's way of saying he's not going back to the kitchen to get the things they potentially have as he crawls into bed next to Eames and immediately starts to curl into him. Warm body and all that.]
