[ He grunts an ungracious greeting and rolls himself back over onto his back until the world around him stops spinning. Pihu could fix it for him in a heartbeat, but he's fairly sure she's punishing him like this time will be the time he learns his lesson.

He won't, but it doesn't seem to stop her from trying.

Another couple minutes gives him the strength to lever himself up and off the table and he wraps Cayde's cloak tighter around his shoulders before he drops himself in a rumpled heap beside him, blinking into the fire. ]

[There's just something about seeing Andal hungover that always brightens Cayde's day, and he laughs again when Andal plops down miserably next to him.]

Cheer up, Andal. It's not that bad.

It's pretty bad.

[ The argument won't stand, but this level of misery is enough that he can get away with some things he might have taken longer to wind himself towards otherwise. Dropping his head onto Cayde's shoulder, for one, as he drags the cloak's hood up to block as much of the light out as he can. Cayde's still warm and that's all that really matters beyond the throbbing at his temples. ]

[Cayde has some sympathy for Andal, he slips an arm around him and presses his face fondly against the top of Andal's head. Some small bit of affection for this hungover idiot.]

I did. [And some wistful part of him thinks on how nice it'd be to just... Stay. Not in this ruin specifically, but just forget their responsibilities and live out in the wilds, just traveling and going after whatever seems fun or shiny. Nights and mornings like this, camping together in front of a fire.]

[It's a cute fantasy that he's not going to share, but it does make him go quiet a little too long before Cayde catches himself.]

Turns out some of us aren't totally useless in the morning.
