[Eames doesn't know how to feel about things. He never does after this. It's... Easier than it used to be. He doesn't know why. Maybe it's just a matter of trust, but there's other issues, ones that get louder every time. Because he can't ignore that this is part of him anymore, and neither can Arthur.]

[He doesn't want to focus too much on what Arthur must think, but he can't shake it. He lays on the bed, ignoring various aches and pains, trying not to look at Arthur.]

[Arthur laughs and shakes his head, then tightens his hold on Eames. He has to sit back and admire him for a moment.]

[Eames beams at the compliment and cups Arthur's face in both hands, looking back at him with complete adoration.]

[He noses for a kiss.]

[That one gets a sudden burst of laughter out of Eames at the unexpectedness of it and he shakes his head, grinning at Arthur.]

I think I'm on a roll now. I just want to tell you how magnificent you are.

Oh, I thought you'd run out of words.

[There's a teasing glint in his eye and he pats Arthur's chest, definitely challenging him to keep going.]

Don't let me stop you, in that case.

I'll run out eventually, but right now I'm looking at you and thinking how perfect and wonderful you are.

[Oh, "wonderful." That's like a real compliment about him as a person. Eames ducks his head, a flicker of discomfort on his face.]

And maybe just a little bit heavy.

[His legs are falling asleep they should relocate.]

[Eames snorts and slips off Arthur's lap, offering a hand to help him up.]

You should get some rest.

[Arthur takes his hand and stands up with a sigh.]

Yeah, I guess I should. Are you gonna stay here?

Unless you want me to come lay down with you.

[Which is fine by him, he can come keep an eye on things when Arthur's properly asleep.]

[He knows Eames was just sleeping so he might not want to lay back down. He could certainly use the company though.]

[Eames snorts and gently shoves Arthur in the direction of their quarters.]

Come on. Let's tuck you in.

[Arthur laughs and heads to bed, taking off his shirt and pants so he can comfortably snuggle in once he gets under the sheets.]

[Eames does the same and makes himself available to be a pillow once he's laying down.]

[Arthur lays his head right down on Eames' chest and settles in for sleep, mumbling something about how he loves him.]

Mm. Love you too.

[He strokes his fingertips up and down Arthur's back lazily and sighs happily.]

[Arthur's gonna doze off pretty quickly and he'll easily sleep for several hours. It's been a draining time.]
