[The last few months with Arthur have been... Nice. Really, really, nice. In some ways he's been happy that he convinced Arthur to take that day off, because it's opened them up to spending more time together for reasons other than sex, (though the sex, as always, has been outstanding,) and Eames has enjoyed it. A lot. It's something he hadn't ever thought of as missing in his life, but he could get used to it.]

[That's a problem.]

[He's seen relationships undo enough people in his line of work that that alone makes him hesitant, but with Arthur, well. Sleeping with a cop is fun, and mutually beneficial, but there's no long-term to something like that and Eames can't let himself get attached. He respects Arthur enough too, to at least do him the decency of talking to him and explaining himself instead of just vanishing. Arthur's more than good enough to track him down and shoot him if he did anyway.]

[He's been going over it again and again, and eventually he just decides to let himself in one night, waiting for Arthur to get home in his living room so they can just get this over with.]

[A shiver goes up Arthur's spine and he hesitates. Depending on how fast Eames goes it's probably going to hurt, but he did prep himself in the shower so it's not like he's going to break. He braces his hand on the counter and nods.]

[Eames senses that hesitation, so he decides to take it slow. At least to start. He takes some time to make sure he lines himself up properly and noses at Arthur's face for a kiss as he presses into him slowly.]

[Arthur groans and squeezes his knees around Eames' hips, willing himself to relax. The pain could certainly be much worse but there's still some resistance there. That starts to melt away as Eames gets deeper, and Arthur's stuttering gasps turn into long steady moans against Eames' lips.]

[Eames moans, bringing his hands to Arthur's hip and his lower back to hold him in place. He rocks his hips slow and shallow, matching that with a kiss that's deep and passionate.]

[Arthur's fist balls in the back of Eames' hair and groans. This is everything he's wanted for weeks now and it's a little overwhelming.]

[Eames dips his head to kiss Arthur's neck, absolutely trying to get more noises out of him while he keeps up the slow pace.]

[Arthur whimpers and groans, tilting his head back and away from Eames to give him access. He rocks his hips to try and get a little more pressure where he's craving it. He tells Eames how good he feels and how amazing he is, though nothing really comes together in a sentence that makes sense.]

[Eames can gather enough to tell that this is really good for Arthur, which is what Eames wants, and he dares to start going deeper, maybe a tiny bit faster if he can make it work.]

[Arthur braces a hand on the cabinet behind him and lets out a moan that comes out like a sob. He hooks his ankles together behind Eames so he can keep his legs up for him.]

[Eames curses and drops his head, pressing his forehead against Arthur's chest. He almost can't believe how good all this feels and murmurs something to say as much between moans and curses.]

[Arthur whimpers something about how he can take it if Eames wants to go harder, but again the words don't quite string together in a full sentence. He's been aching for this, for something just hard, and he knows he'll come really hard if Eames can pick up the force and the speed even more.]

[Eames nods and plants his feet to get a more solid stance, tilting his head back up to kiss Arthur's neck again and gripping him tighter to make sure he doesn't slip back on the counter when Eames starts building up to something harder and faster.]

[The volume is way up now as Arthur just holds on for dear life, trying to keep from hurting himself somehow up here. He can feel his orgasm building and he says as much in between shouts and moans, in between telling Eames how good it is and telling him to keep going.]

[Eames' volume is right up there with Arthur's, just a bit muffled by having his lips on Arthur's neck. He's just holding on to see Arthur through his orgasm at this point, body tense and shaking with the effort of trying to stop himself coming too soon.]

[When Arthur comes, he moans helplessly and his hips jerk a little in Eames' hands. He squeezes his legs together around Eames' waist and sobs out a moan, dragging his nails across Eames' back. He curses and says Eames' name and curses some more, losing track of what's actually going on for a brief moment.]

[Right now, Eames literally can't think of anything hotter than this moment. He comes harder than he expected with sharp thrusts into Arthur, groaning and holding Arthur against him, and he keeps rocking his hips to try and milk as much out of Arthur as he can before it's too much.]

[Arthur trembles a little with the aftershocks as he starts to relax again, leaning back against the cabinet and trying to catch his breath. This, he knows, is going to leave him sore for a day or two, but he doesn't even care.]

[Eames leans with him and rests his head on Arthur's chest, loosely wrapping his arms around Arthur's waist with a sigh. He definitely wants to be off his feet, but that would mean moving and that's worse.]

[He takes a deep breath.]

[Eames laughs softly into Arthur's chest.]

I'm glad you think so.

I don't think it's a matter of opinion after that.

[He lifts his hand up to lazily brush his fingers through Eames' hair.]

[He hums at the attention and turns his head up to nuzzle at Arthur's jaw.]

Having a good partner helps.

[Arthur makes an amused noise and sighs, enjoying the post-coital bliss. After a moment of silence he decides maybe they should move. Eames is probably tired and the cabinet isn't exactly comfortable.]

You wanna go back to bed?

I think I need a shower now too.

[He says it with a laugh and carefully pulls out, putting his hands on Arthur's hips to help him down.]

[Arthur very gingerly slips off the counter, making sure his legs work before he lets go of it. He picks up the towel and wipes off his stomach before he sets off toward the bedroom.]

Yeah, I'll lay down while you do that if you want.
