[Maybe it's a mischievous streak, something a little devious, but being able to change himself this way. Sometimes Eames just wants to do it for fun, there's nothing wrong with that. One could argue, however, there's something a little wrong with asking your partner to meet you for a drink without informing him you'll be looking a little different however.]

[Lucky for Eames, he doesn't think Arthur is somebody who'll make that complaint.]

[Especially not when he sees exactly who it is meeting him. It's been a while, but Delilah's memorable, Eames made her that way. Beautiful and graceful, she stands out yet rarely seems out of place. Especially not in the upscale bar Eames asked Arthur to meet him at.]

[Delilah comes in maybe ten minutes after Arthur, gently suggests to the person next to him that that seat should be hers and sits just a little closer than appropriate. Waiting first to be noticed, to see if Arthur recognises her or if she needs to make the first move.]

[He laughs softly, at the audacity of Eames to make him wait after all that. It's not like he can really screw it up from here, though. At least he's pretty sure he won't.]

[Her lips quirk in a bit of a smirk that's definitely Eames', and tilts her head toward him.]

If you want to go that badly, I'm sure I can be swayed.

[Arthur grins down at his drink and then raises an eyebrow at her.]

[Arthur swirls the beer around in his glass thoughtfully.]

Why don't you finish that one first, and I'll think about what I could possibly say that would convince you to skip the second in favour of me eating you out a few minutes sooner.

[But she is still taking delicate sips of her drink.]

[He laughs and shakes his head.]

I don't want to give everything away.

[Then he smirks up at her.]

[She glances around the room, less caution and more like she's just taking a moment to think.]

[She licks her lips and smirks.]

[He almost asks to elaborate, but he can feel his face starting to heat up just a little and they are still in public. So drinking his beer it is.]

[She'll elaborate anyway, fairly confident Arthur would say if it was too much, and lowers her voice again. It's fairly tame anyway.]

I'm looking forward to seeing how your skin feels under my fingertips.

[Please appreciate the restraint it takes to stop there.]

[Arthur doesn't so much appreciate it so much as thank god for it. It's not like he's about to pop a boner right here but Eames has a very inspiring way with words and genuinely is very distracting.]

[Delilah opens her mouth as if to say more, but she's quiet for a ling moment, lips pulling into a smile as she looks at her glass.]

Maybe I don't need that second drink.

[He smirks, looking at her glass to assess how long it might take before he has to call a cab.]

I can mix you another one at my place, if you want. After we get you a little more comfortable.

[There's not much left in her glass, even if she's taking her time, there's no way Delilah can stretch it out much longer.]

If you're ready for me to call a cab, I can start showing you how talented I am that much sooner.

[He digs into his pocket for his phone and puts it on the before he gestures for the bartender so he can settle up.]

[She stirs what's left of her drink with her straw.]

[Arthur smirks as he digs out his wallet too, just before the bartender arrives. He orders a cab from his phone with a few taps and then stands, waiting for Delilah to stand too so he can lead her out with a hand on the small of her back. He really doesn't have much to say — he's just thinking about getting her home and cataloguing a few more of the sounds he can get out of Eames in this new voice.]

[She sticks close to Arthur on the way out, and when the cab arrives she slots herself in at Arthur's side for the ride back too. Another show of restraint on her part when she rests a hand high up on Arthur's thigh, but doesn't attempt any funny business in the back of the cab. You're welcome, Arthur.]

[He smiles at her, looking forward to getting them home so they can get to that funny business.]

So, what inspired you to get all dressed up and come out to the bar tonight?

I had a hunch there'd be someone very attractive there tonight.

[He thought he might get some insight into why Eames decided to do this tonight — not that he's complaining, but one can't help but be curious. He smiles at Delilah's response.]

[She makes a pleased noise and lifts a hand to Arthur's chin.]

[He smirks down at her and thinks about going in for a kiss, but he kind of wants to wait until they're home.]
