[Sometimes jobs go wrong, that's just a fact of life. No amount of planning can account for random strokes of luck, little things in life that just happen. Eames may not be the most stringent when it comes to these things, but he doubts any amount of forethought could plan for a security guard getting milk in his coffee instead of soy and sticking around an extra fifteen minutes. It's kind of amazing how some random guy being lactose intolerant can undo a week's work.]

[Maybe it's his own fault, maybe he got too cocky, too sure he could handle a job like this on his own. Eames would say he's probably one of the best, but even the best out there has problems when it comes to a guard coming out of the bathroom unexpectedly and alerting every other guard in the building before Eames manages to knock him out.]

[At least he had the foresight to wear a mask.]

[The protocol for this kind of thing is always the same at least. Get out, get gone, make sure you're not being tailed before you go to ground. Eames makes it out through a window and hops the fence, in the back of his mind it reminds him of when he was young, and with the adrenaline rush it's actually a little fun.]

[When he was young he didn't have the money or the experience to be able to dump his car and switch to another once he's confident he's not being followed. Guards like that don't tend to leave the premises, but one can never be too sure. He sits at the wheel for a little bit, ostensibly to get his head together, but he's in a bit of a state. He knows he needs to get somewhere he feels safe enough to regroup, and that's how he ends up letting himself in Arthur's bedroom window and passing out on his bed as soon as the adrenaline wears off. There's a little blood, he probably looks like a mess, but it's all superficial. Mostly he's just exhausted.]

[Eames stays the course, groaning softly around Arthur once he realises he's not that far off.]

[Arthur groans desperately and presses his head back, managing to get Eames' name out as a warning as he feels it building in the pit of his stomach. It's enough time for Eames' to pull off if he wants to before he shudders and starts to come.]

[Eames stays put, swallowing with a low hum and waits until it seems like Arthur's completely done before he sits up and looks at him.]

[Arthur takes a deep breath and looks up at Eames, body heavy with the satisfaction of a blowjob well done. He wonders briefly whether Eames is going to want him to return the favour somehow but he's just going to savour it for the time being.]

[Arthur takes another deep breath and pulls his underwear back up. He pushes himself up to sit and looks down at Eames.]

[He opens his eyes and looks up at Arthur.]

[Arthur slips out of bed and heads for the door, pausing to turn and look at Eames before he slips out of view.]

If you wanna stick around a bit longer, I'll order us some pizza.

[Eames actually looks excited by that prospect and sits up.]

Well I definitely am now.

[It's funny because he fully intends to stay overnight.]

[Arthur grins and finally slips out of sight, heading to the fridge and grabbing a couple bottles of beer before seeking out his phone. He heads back into the bedroom, bottles in one hand as he looks down at his phone mid-order on some app.]

You okay with the works?

Of course.

[He reaches for the beer.]

[There's your beer Eames.]

[Arthur slips back into bed and sips as he finishes the order, putting his phone down on the night table once it's in.]

[He's not doing it intentionally, but Eames absolutely leans toward and gets closer to Arthur while he's ordering the pizza.]

[Arthur smirks at Eames once his phone is put down, raising an eyebrow.]

What do you want to do for thirty to forty minutes?

[Eames raises an eyebrow right back and leans back a little. He's assuming Arthur's angling for some bangling here and that's fine by Eames.]

I can think of a few things.

[Arthur checks Eames out with absolutely no subtlety at all.]

[Eames stretches his back and takes a deep breath like that's something he has to think about at all.]

Well, I've got some emails to write.

[He doesn't have any emails to write.]

[He says that like he doesn't believe him at all, turning towards him and putting his hand on Eames's stomach.]

[He smiles over the lip of his bottle as he takes a sip.]

[He slips his hand into Eames' underwear and starts lazily pumping his hand.]

[Eames hums softly at Arthur's touch, taking another drink of his beer before he leans over to put it on the nightstand.]

I see you've got something else in mind though.

[He shrugs, continuing at a lazy pace.]

I haven't landed on anything specific yet.

[Eames laughs softly and reaches out to pull Arthur closer.]

Well, you've got thirty to forty minutes to make up your mind.
