[Maybe it's a mischievous streak, something a little devious, but being able to change himself this way. Sometimes Eames just wants to do it for fun, there's nothing wrong with that. One could argue, however, there's something a little wrong with asking your partner to meet you for a drink without informing him you'll be looking a little different however.]

[Lucky for Eames, he doesn't think Arthur is somebody who'll make that complaint.]

[Especially not when he sees exactly who it is meeting him. It's been a while, but Delilah's memorable, Eames made her that way. Beautiful and graceful, she stands out yet rarely seems out of place. Especially not in the upscale bar Eames asked Arthur to meet him at.]

[Delilah comes in maybe ten minutes after Arthur, gently suggests to the person next to him that that seat should be hers and sits just a little closer than appropriate. Waiting first to be noticed, to see if Arthur recognises her or if she needs to make the first move.]

[She hums in thought as though it's a difficult question, long enough for the bartender to finish her drink. She takes a small sip, as though they don't both know it's exactly to her taste.]

Well there is a handsome man with good taste in drinks.

[Arthur raises his eyebrow, smiling softly and turning his body towards her just a little more.]

That sounds very promising for you.

[She tilts her head a little, giving Arthur a generous look up and down.]

Very promising. Who knows if it'll pan out though.

[He grins a little bashfully as he's appraised, taking another sip of his beer.]

I think you'd have to be very unlucky for it not to pan out.

[He gives Delilah a glance up and down before he leans in a little, lowering his voice just for her.]

You could get away with murder.

[He pulls back away to take another drink.]

[Oh good. Delilah raises an eyebrow, pleased as she takes a sip of her drink, and sighs softly.]

That doesn't tell me much about spending time with a gorgeous man, though.

[He raises his eyebrow.]

[He laughs softly.]

[She sidles a little closer.]

[A wry smile flashes across his face as he softly shakes his head, because Eames knows this is just a hair past his comfortable flirting zone. If Delilah actually were a stranger he'd probably get nervous right now, and maybe he'd play it off but maybe he'd screw it up and say the wrong thing. The worst case scenario tonight is that he doesn't get laid but he does still get to go to bed with his boyfriend having endured a little ribbing, so the stakes seem lower.]

Well, if I were so lucky to catch your attention, I'd certainly clear my plans for the evening.

[Delilah licks her lips, not quite a smile but something close graces her expression.]

That's good. I'd hate for us to be interrupted.

[He tilts his head and checks her out again.]

Maybe clear out the morning too.

[She mirrors him, tilting her head, hair falling back off her shoulder.]

Sounding even better.

[His eyes fall to her shoulder where the strap of her dress sits so nicely on her collarbone. His voice gets a little lower so that no one will hear him but Delilah.]

And I'd probably be thinking how nice that dress will look on my floor, but trying not to think about it too much in case you want a few more of those... [He gestures to her drink.] I'd hate to rush you, even if it is a terribly distracting image.

[Wow that is... Adorable? It's astoundingly hard for Eames not to break character, Arthur will probably see it in the way Delilah's lip twitch in a smile as she takes a sip of her drink.]

[That's fine, this isn't Arthur's forte. He's better when it's more casual. Delilah hums softly, thinking that over before she leans a little toward Arthur and drops her voice.]

And how distracting is it?

[specifiercity]

[Arthur gets the sense that Eames wants to push it here, as he always does. He's getting into it now, feeling a little more warmed up to this kind of talk.]

Well, to be honest, part of me is so impatient that I considered the restroom as well, but...

[His hand drops to her knee, fingers ghosting the inside of her thigh as he spares the rest of the bar a glance to see if anyone can see how forward he's being.]

I'd really like to take my time with you, and I don't want you to hold anything in.

[There it is. Delilah hums happily at the attention, dropping her hand to rest at Arthur's wrist, but she's not stopping him. If anything, there's a slightly playful lilt to her voice.]

So forward. You haven't even told me your name.

[She looks at Arthur, trying to catch his eye before she goes on.]

I hope to be repeating it a lot later.

[He smirks.]

It's Arthur.

[His fingers stretch just a touch further.]

And what should I call you?

Delilah.

[Her eyes flick down to his hand and back to his face.]

A pleasure.

Oh, I'm sure there will be quite a bit of that.

[Can he help himself? No. But at least he says it with the kind of grin that shows he knows how dumb it is.]

[Anyway he finally pulls away so he can take another sip of beer, regarding her with an energetic spark in his eyes.]

So, how many more drinks will it be?

[Hm. On one hand, she's quite eager to get out of here. On another? Eames really wants to tease Arthur a bit more.]
