[If he hates parties, Terry hates the inter-label parties even more. It's exhausting being around all these people and pretending not to hate everything and everyone and having to introduce himself to all these Virgo people as if he cares about these conversations and doesn't just want to go back to his bed.]

[He's content to keep doing this until Finnick says otherwise, drinking in his reactions, some part of him always delighted by being able to make people feel good like this. But it's never worth dwelling on, he just hums softly and takes his dick in his hand just to make sure he stays hard while this is all happening.]

[Finnick's moans get louder and more insistent as Terry goes, his hips rocking involuntarily as his eyes flutter. He looks like he might only be moments away when he finally relents, reaching clumsily for Terry's wrist as he tells him to stop in a tone that's bordering on panicked.]

[Terry nods, slowing to a stop and pulling his fingers out. [Finnick reaches back up to Terry's shoulder and letting out soft groans like he can still feel his fingers inside of him. He digs his own fingers into Terry's skin to show him how impatient he is, even shuffling his hips a little closer. He doesn't want to cool off completely before Terry's inside him again.]

[Terry makes a gently amused noise and murmurs a soft "okay," moving to get himself situated a little more comfortably between Finnick's legs. He doesn't waste any time lining himself up and pressing into Finnick, head dropping forward with a low moan as he rocks his hips to press into him bit by bit.]

[Finnick lets out a few breathless moans and draws his knees up a little farther to give Terry a better angle. This is perfect, it's everything he wanted, now if Terry could just get deep inside of him and fuck him with some urgency everything would be perfect.]

[He needs to get himself all the way in first, but once he feels himself bottom out he exhales a short breath and puts a hand down on the bed for support and the other on Finnick's hip to hold him close.]

[This part is easy, Terry has pretty much no apprehensions about it, and he starts working up to what he thinks Finnick wants. Something a little hard and fast but not too much of either.]

[Finnick moans, slipping his hand up to the back of Terry's neck and putting the other on his own dick. He knows he won't come from being fucked alone but he won't start jerking himself off until it seems like Terry's close.]

[It takes a little while before he gets to that point, breath coming in shallow pants and moans once he starts feeling it tighten in the pit of his stomach and he ducks his head a little to try and catch Finnick for a kiss, desperate and messy.]

[It only takes a few pumps of his hand before Finnick is finished, arching and moaning like he's practiced at this, but not so much that it might seem like he's just performing for Terry. He really is coming and it really does feel good, and when he's finished he pants and waits for Terry to pull out, letting out the occasional moan to go with an aftershock.]

[He pulls out finally after a moment of stillness, nosing a little at Finnick's face before he pulls back a little to spot the wastebasket and get rid of the condom. Terry puts a hand idly on Finnick's thigh while he leans back on his knees, thumb rubbing lazily back and forth while his other hand rests in his hair and he catches his breath.]

[Finnick catches his breath too, but he lays back, staring at the ceiling as some unique kind of dread sets in. He wonders why he did this - why he brought Terry back to this hotel room, why he had it ready in the first place, and why any of this sounded like a good idea.]

[He almost feels paralyzed, pinned down to the bed lying there, he almost forgets Terry's there for a while.]

[Well that's not the way he knows people to act after sex-- they usually look a little less morose at least. Terry frowns, tongue playing with his lip ring while he tries to decide whether or not he should just leave Finnick alone.]

[He's not exactly great at just leaving people when he thinks they're upset though, and he puts his other hand down on Finnick's thigh to try and catch his attention.]

[His voice catches in his throat when he tries to speak, and when he hears it he squeezes his eyes shut and covers his face with his hand. There's something very familiar about this sinking sense of dread but he can usually ignore it and act like nothing's wrong. He knows Terry must think he did something wrong and some part of Finnick wants to tell him that's not it, but he can't even speak right now let alone communicate something so delicate.]

[The thought does cross his mind, and Terry frowns, wondering what to do. Wondering if he hurt Finnick or...]

[But he can't ask if Finnick won't talk to him, and he exhales a slow, heavy breath. Talking Finnick down is something he at least has some experience with, and the guy hasn't tried to kill him this time so that makes it a little easier to think.]

[Terry moves from between Finnick's legs to crawl up the bed and sit next to his head, hugging his knees to his chest with one arm and drops his other hand to comb his fingers through the front of Finnick's hair. Voice low and gentle when he speaks.]

Do you want me to leave?

[He can't help but feel like it'd be a bad idea to leave him here alone, but if it's what he wants there'd be shit all Terry could realistically do.]

[Finnick considers saying yes, but the thought of being alone in this hotel room just sounds like it would make it harder to get a handle back on reality again, so he he shakes his head and lets out a shaky breath.]

[It's another few moments before he tries speaking again, his hand still covering most of his face.]

I can't-- I don't know what's--

[Terry's willing to stay as long as it takes for Finnick to calm, until he can talk properly about this. Or decide he doesn't want to. Whatever. He just makes a gentle shushing noise with his hand in Finnick's hair.]

Take your time, it's alright.

[He feels a little guilty that part of him wants this to be something else and not something he did, but Terry keeps that concern to himself.]

It's not.

[None of this is alright. It's all very distressing. He wishes he could describe what's going on right now but he's having trouble sorting it out in his head let alone forcing the words out.]

[He finally pulls his hand away, but his eyes are still squeezed shut like he's trying to focus on making his body obey him and stop freaking out. It's a losing battle.]

Well I'm not going anywhere.

[As if to punctuate that, he slides down to lay next to Finnick. He doesn't curl up to him or anything, but he stays close enough for his presence to be felt.]

[Finnick lets out a strangled sob as he opens his eyes and looks up at the ceiling.]

I'm sorry, this isn't how this is supposed to go, I'm... I feel like I'm somewhere else...

[A little hesitantly, Terry lifts a hand to cup the side of Finnick's face, gently tries to coax Finnick into looking at him. Maybe... Physically grounding him will help? Give him something to focus on?]

Look at me.

[It's soft, a suggestion more than it is an order, and he watches Finnick's face to see how any of this is going over.]

Focus on my voice, focus on your breathing, okay?

[He shakes his head and starts bracing himself on the bed like he's going to try and sit up.]

[Terry frowns, chewing his lip a little but... Maybe he does? Either that or he's crazy. He's quiet for a long moment, wondering if it's not just anxiety-- if it's the weird dreams and flashbacks and all that shit.]

[He hesitates, still with his hand on Finnick's face, but it's worth asking.]

... It's like you're not you, right? Like there's some whole other life you don't remember?
