[Maxxie finishes up with his hands on Terry's hips, but he slips them around his waist and hugs him from behind, pressing a kiss to the side of Terry's face.]

Feels like you've got a few knots back there.

[Terry lets out an amused breath and leans back against Maxxie, resting his hands on Maxxie's forearms.]

Luci tried to give me a massage and it felt like torture.

[He noses at the side of Terry's face affectionately.]

It'll still hurt but I'll go slow and we can make out afterwards.

What if we just skip straight to the making out?

[It's gonna hurt so much he doesn't want that!!!]

[Anyway he's pulling away to get the conditioner now, since he's gotta be good to his hair and all that.]

[Well now this is awful on two counts and Terry turns around to frown at Maxxie.]

It's gonna hurt a lot though.

[Maxxie shakes his head with a soft smile.]

Not as much as it'll hurt if you seriously pull or tear something 'cause your muscles are all too tight.

[traumatizing]

[Terry makes a weak noise and leans forward to put his forehead on Maxxie's shoulder. He'll have the stupid massage. And then die probably.]

[Maxxie laughs and rubs Terry’s back lightly.]

I’ll be as gentle as possible, alright?

[traumatizing]

Okay.

[It comes out weak and defeated from where he's leaning on Maxxie.]

And I promise we’ll make out after.

[He pats Terry’s shoulder and then pushes him gently.]

Now let me clean out my ass.

[traumatizing]

[Terry snorts in amusement and stands up and away from Maxxie so he can clean up.]

Fine, fine.

[He grabs the conditioner, might as well keep his hair vaguely alive.]

[Maxxie gets to work, cleaning himself up quickly and then standing under the water an extra minute or so just to enjoy it. Finally he has to confront the fact that it’s time to get out.]

I’m gonna go dry my hair now, yeah?

[traumatizing]

Okay.

[Terry leans over for another quick kiss before Maxxie gets out.]

[Maxxie accepts that kiss happily and then heads out to find the hair dryer and a brush to get himself sorted out.]

[traumatizing]

[Terry meanwhile picks up the razor and gets to work. It's not been so long that he's forgotten how to do this, even if it's long enough that he's got a bit more growth than he usually has to deal with, but soon he'll have that hairless torso he's used to.]

[Maxxie dries his hair as straight as it'll go but decides he's not going to bother with the straightener right now - it's not like he's planning on going anywhere.]

[It takes a little while for Terry to finish up in the shower, but he feels a lot better for it. A bit more like himself than before. He sighs happily as he rinses off and steps out, grabbing a towel and drying his hair as he moves over toward the sink.]

Guess it's time to deal with this beard...

[It's more a mumble to himself, and he takes his (different) razor out of a cupboard and rummages for a pair of scissors he could've sworn used to be in here. Maybe they were Richard's? Who knows at this point. Either way he's gonna take a shot at shaping all this scruff.]

[Seeing Terry post-shave gives Maxxie a jarring feeling of deja vu, and he actually does a bit of a double take to check him out in between rummaging around for a clean razor to shave his own face.]

[It's kinda weird having Maxxie here for this, though not necessarily in a bad way, it's just surprisingly intimate. He glances at Maxxie and then at his reflection, frowning in thought about what to do. Just make it generally neater? He's gonna deal with that whole neck and underchin situation while he thinks it over.]

[Maxxie doesn't look that hard for a razor and fails to find one, but eventually he turns around and leans against the counter with a sigh.]

Should we order some food in or something? Will they still deliver here?

[traumatizing]

Yeah, as long as you can pay.

[Terry pauses to look at Maxxie in the mirror and raise an eyebrow.]

I tip well too, so that helps.

[He laughs, a little rueful.]
