[It's been on his mind a lot over the last few weeks, the idea of becoming a vampire. Partially because he's looking older than Arthur these days, and if he lets that go on too long it's going to get pretty weird, but moreover he just feels ready]

[Anxious as fuck, but ready.]

[The idea of it is terrifying — he'd gone to Mal for an explanation of the finer details rather than worry Arthur with his questions, seeing as she's actually done it before and Arthur hasn't — the idea that he could just... Die. It's not one that sits easy with Eames. He rather likes being alive, in fact half the point of becoming a vampire is to keep being alive, for a stretch on the word, forever.]

[So he's been dealing with that a lot, pretending otherwise whenever Arthur notices him being distant or pensive so he can work out his feelings on this without any outside influence. He knows Arthur wouldn't be mad if he changed his mind, it's a huge change to undertake, but it's not that he might not want this so much as wondering if the risks are really worth it.]

[They are.]

[But now they need to talk about it, so Eames is psyching himself up to do exactly that. Offered to stay in and make dinner while Arthur's off doing his errands to give himself some time alone to think about it. Maybe making some significant progress on a bottle of wine to calm his nerves, maybe it'll slow him down enough Arthur won't realise how keyed up he is the second he gets home.]

[Arthur thinks that's a little gross but he gets it, so he comes up behind Eames and wraps his arms around him from behind, slouching enough to rest his cheek between Eames' shoulder blades.]

You did well tonight.

[Eames makes a noise that might be "thanks" and puts a hand on Arthur's arm. He's too busy trying to get every drop of blood he can get out of this bag, but he appreciates what Arthur's saying regardless.]

[Arthur hums and noses at the back of Eames' neck.]

I can't believe you called yourself my boytoy.

[He sounds a little amused and a little like he enjoyed the implication.]

[That one gets Eames to lower the bag for a moment with an amused snort, and he leans back a little against Arthur.]

Am I wrong?

I don't think that's always our dynamic.

[He grins and kisses Eames' neck, pressing his palm flat on Eames' stomach and dragging it back and forth.]

Of course, right now I kind of just want to take you to bed and show you a good time.

Oh?

[Gross as it is, Eames tips the bag to get the last drops he can, (without tearing the thing open and licking it anyway, which Eames does consider, but he stops himself,) and turns to face Arthur with a grin.]

By all means, do.

[Arthur hums and leans in for a kiss, immediately trying to slip in a little tongue so he can get a taste of that blood in Eames' mouth.]

[Eames is more than happy with that, lifting his hands to lightly hold the sides of Arthur's face, pressing his body against Arthur's with a soft moan.]

[Arthur's hand is flat against Eames' lower back when he pulls his face away to speak.]

Come on, I'm not in the mood for kitchen sex.

[Eames grins and drops his hands to rest on Arthur's hips and he makes some attempt to walk Arthur towards the bedroom without taking his hands off him.]

[Arthur happily goes, leaning in to kiss Eames' jaw occasionally as they make their way to the bedroom. When they get there, Arthur pushes Eames gently towards the bed and looks down at him with desire and affection as he starts to take off his shirt.]

[Eames grins and gets rid of his shirt before he lays on the bed, electing to just get his pants off straight away too.]

[Arthur gets naked as well and then crawls on top of Eames to nose at his face again and start kissing.]

[Eames makes a noise of delight and wraps his arms around Arthur's shoulders, lifting a leg to rest his thigh at Arthur's waist.]

[Arthur sinks into Eames, humming as he kisses him and rocks his hips gently. He doesn't mind it taking a little while to get up to speed, he just wants to be close to Eames.]

[Eames is more than happy with that, feeling along Arthur's shoulders and upper back, fingers tracing the shapes of his muscles.]

[Arthur just kisses him for a while, shifting to get comfortable and letting out soft, happy moans.]

[Eventually though it's time to get going, so Arthur reaches over to the nightstand to grab the lube, getting some on his fingers and reaching down between them to rub back and forth over Eames' entrance.]

[Eames is eager for anything Arthur wants to do, and it shows in the way he hums happily and tilts his hips up to make the angle a little easier for Arthur, letting out a quiet moan in anticipation.]

[It's not like Eames need a ton of warm up, but Arthur likes this part so he sinks two fingers into him and starts pumping in and out in more of a firm massage than anything else.]

[Eames gasps and whines, closing his eyes to try and isolate the feeling of Arthur's fingers inside him, clinging to Arthur at the same time.]

[Arthur hovers above him, eager to hear his unobstructed moans as he curls his fingers and rocks his hand into him.]

[Eames doesn't disappoint, letting out desperate moans and curses with each press of Arthur's fingers. His own dig in harshly where he's holding on to Arthur, pure desperation in his expression and the noises he makes.]

[It doesn't take long before Arthur's desire to be inside Eames outweighs his desire to hear more of those noises, and at that point he pulls out his fingers and grabs for the lube again, giving Eames a bit of a breather. He's adjusting his weight when he asks:]

You mind if I go without a condom?

[Maybe it's a dick move to get Eames all worked up first, but they both know they're not going anywhere else tonight and they both like it better this way.]

[He smirks up at Arthur, laying back and pushing a hand through his hair while he waits. He probably would've asked for it that way anyway, so he has zero objections.]

[Arthur smiles, sitting up just so he can use both hands to get some more lube on his palm and then coming back down to give Eames a kiss as he gives himself a hand. He's definitely not interested in wasting any time here, lining himself up right away and leaning in for a kiss as he presses into him. It's all very indulgent; he doesn't need to take his time but he's enjoying every inch the same way he's enjoying the feeling of Eames' lips and tongue against his own. He'll start to ramp it up eventually, but it'll be harder before it's faster.]
