[It's been on his mind a lot over the last few weeks, the idea of becoming a vampire. Partially because he's looking older than Arthur these days, and if he lets that go on too long it's going to get pretty weird, but moreover he just feels ready]

[The idea of it is terrifying — he'd gone to Mal for an explanation of the finer details rather than worry Arthur with his questions, seeing as she's actually done it before and Arthur hasn't — the idea that he could just... Die. It's not one that sits easy with Eames. He rather likes being alive, in fact half the point of becoming a vampire is to keep being alive, for a stretch on the word, forever.]

[So he's been dealing with that a lot, pretending otherwise whenever Arthur notices him being distant or pensive so he can work out his feelings on this without any outside influence. He knows Arthur wouldn't be mad if he changed his mind, it's a huge change to undertake, but it's not that he might not want this so much as wondering if the risks are really worth it.]

[But now they need to talk about it, so Eames is psyching himself up to do exactly that. Offered to stay in and make dinner while Arthur's off doing his errands to give himself some time alone to think about it. Maybe making some significant progress on a bottle of wine to calm his nerves, maybe it'll slow him down enough Arthur won't realise how keyed up he is the second he gets home.]

[Maybe Eames should be a little concerned about whether or not he can take Arthur's full strength, but right now he's just excited. The thought alone already has him half hard by the time they get to the bedroom and he's impatient to find out what it's like, pushing off his pants and reaching for Arthur to get his clothes off too.]

[Eames drops his head with a groan, momentarily distracted by how good it feels, but otherwise he's still not seeing the issue.]

Arthur, I feel fine.

[Even if he did have some issues lurking, it's not like he's given himself a chance to think at all.]

[Arthur hooks his fingers, pushing in to the knuckles and then rocking into Eames with his entire arm.]

Well, you just tell me if you want me to slow down.

[He curses softly and lifts his hips a little so he can move more easily with Arthur.]

I don't think that's going to be a problem.

[Arthur moves his arm with a little more urgency, putting his free hand back on his own dick to give it a little help.]

[Arthur almost has the urge to ask Eames if he’s sure about that, but then he just sighs and leans back a little to pull off the condom and reapply some lube.]

[That’s only a little for effect as he resumes what he was doing before.]

[Eames opens his mouth like he wants to say something about that, but he seems to think better of it after a moment or two and goes back to happily pressing back and grinding against Arthur instead. That's a much better use of his time.]

[Arthur doesn't wait much longer and he doesn't bother with much preamble either, he just pulls back, lines himself up, and then slowly starts to sink into Eames with a moan. He feels so fucking good and Arthur loves this angle, so it's almost like he can't help himself when he starts rolling his hips immediately after sinking all the way into him with his hands on Eames' hips. He knows he can probably go a while once he hits his hardest rhythm and he doesn't want to waste too much time getting there.]
