[Maxxie can't see it, but he's totally wrinkling his nose right now.]

[Terry can't see it but Maxxie has a smug smirk on his face.]

[He was gonna lean up to kiss Maxxie, but then Terry sees the look on his face when he lifts his head and promptly puts it back down on his chest.]

[Maxxie laughs softly.]

We'll get you cleaned up, and then you'll be even more gorgeous.

[He shakes his head.]

Not like I've got any photoshoots or shows to be presentable for.

[He just shakes his head and sighs.]

Maybe I like this look. Maybe I wanna grow a proper beard.

[He'll keep his opinions about the facial hair to himself, then.]

[There's a part of him that actually does like the facial hair, but mostly Terry just doesn't see the point in maintaining that routine right now. When he figures out what to do next, maybe.]

[He's also kind of drained and antsy on account of not having performed in a while, but he hasn't realised that much and mostly he kinda wants to go back to sleep and have Maxxie's arms around him and he tries to manoeuvre Maxxie a little so they can lay down.]

[Maxxie catches on pretty quickly what Terry wants to do, so he adjusts himself to get a bit more comfortable. He's already slept a lot, so he looks around for the remote to the TV. He doesn't want to leave Terry but there's no telling how much sleep the man can get before he wakes up again.]

Will it keep you up if I watch something?

I could probably sleep through an air strike.

[So, no.]

[He kisses whatever part of Terry is accessible and then turns on the TV, keeping the volume low despite being given a pass for near-air-strike level sound. There are a lot of shows and things he hasn't caught up on, and he should watch the news at some point. Right now it's time for something mindless and a bit fun, however.]

[Terry cuddles in against Maxxie, wrapping his arms around him and sighing happily as he settles in to sleep. Maxxie's probably going to have to wake him up, because Terry could quite easily sleep for a good few hours like this despite having woken up not too long ago. But in his defence it's not his fault his boyfriend is so strong and comfortable.]

[Part of Maxxie can't believe he's here, with Terry falling asleep on his chest as he watches TV in this penthouse. He's privately overjoyed about it, and any time he thinks about getting up he just looks back down at Terry and smiles his goofy dumb smile and thinks better of it. The TV will provide as much entertainment as he needs unless Terry manages to sleep for six hours or more.]

[Terry does start to rouse after a couple of hours, but he's not happy about it. He groans in distress instead and presses his face into whatever part of Maxxie is closest in an attempt to get back to sleep.]

[Maxxie laughs softly again.]

I'll get a big head if you keep sounding so excited to see me.

Shhh. I'm sleeping.

Right, sorry.

[Maxxie rubs his back and looks back at the TV where he's watching reruns of some midrange TV show.]

[traumatizing]

[He's not sleeping, and he feels kind of bad just making Maxxie be there as his pillow all day, and he sighs. Mumbling an apology into Maxxie's chest.]

What?

[He thinks he heard what Terry said but he's not sure.]

[traumatizing]

Sorry.

[He lifts his head this time, still a little groggy but awake and alert at least.]

It's just... It's a huge deal that you're here and I'm just sleeping and making you stay put while I do.

It's okay.

[He pets Terry's hair.]

I like being here with you.

[traumatizing]

Don't you want to do something?

[He's not upset or even guilty for once, he's just a little confused. Maybe a little worried. Terry just doesn't want to claim all his time with something as boring as watching him sleep-- Not so soon after returning anyway.]

[Maxxie shrugs a shoulder.]
