[He's gonna go in for some neck action now.]

[Terry laughs and wraps his arms around Maxxie's neck, turning his head to nose a little at Maxxie's hair.]

[Maxxie is definitely gonna try and leave a mark here, sorry Terry.]

[traumatizing]

[That's fine, he'll survive. Laughing a little again when he realises it's happening.]

Let me know when you're done there so I can make this coffee.

[Maxxie makes a general noise of acquiescence and spends another minute or so on this spot on Terry's neck before he pulls away, satisfied with his handiwork. It's going to feel good seeing Terry smiling and covered in hickeys from here on out.]

[Terry shakes his head when Maxxie's done, making a show of wiping his neck and then wiping his hand off on Maxxie's pants before he moves to pour the coffee.]

I, uh. I don't think we've got any cream.

S'okay. I'll drink it black, it's fine.

[See he can change and grow. He's more focused on other things anyway, like hopping off the counter and putting his hand on Terry's waist.]

[God he loves Terry and his sense of humour and his nipple piercings and his extremely good face.]

[Terry scoffs and hands Maxxie a mug.]

Shut up and drink your coffee, oh my god.

[Maxxie laughs and takes his mug, though he doesn't even pause to enjoy it.]

[He says, like he doesn't know what Maxxie wants.]

Terry, I have weeks of cuddling and making out with you to make up for.

[traumatizing]

I need coffee before I can commit to this.

[notahobby]

[An exaggerated eye roll.]

Well then get your coffee and come here.

[traumatizing]

[Terry sighs the most put-upon of sighs and picks up his mug in both hands, stepping up to Maxxie and pressing a kiss to the tip of his nose. And then he walks out of the kitchen.]

Let's sit down.

[Maxxie is so incredibly charmed, and he gets up right away to follow Terry wherever it is he's going.]

[traumatizing]

[Terry just wanders out to the living room; it's barely used at this point, but he doesn't dwell on that. He just sits on the couch and tries to make himself comfy for Maxxie to come join him for some cuddling action.]

[Maxxie does just that, sliding right in beside Terry and cuddling as best he can without hampering either of their access to coffee. He knows he's going to miss home again, probably very soon, but for now this is bliss.]

[traumatizing]

[Terry hums softly, putting an arm around Maxxie and snuggling in as much as he can while he sips his coffee. He missed this. He missed this a lot. Just being able to sit close to Maxxie and enjoy being around him. It's comforting in a way nothing else ever has been, and he's really needed that lately.]

[Maxxie grins and puts his hand on Terry's bare chest, brushing his thumb back and forth.]

I love how easy this is.

[traumatizing]

You're easy to be comfortable around.

[He smiles softly at the hand on his chest, just thinking fondly about how great Maxxie is in general.]

I've always felt safe with you.

Yeah, me too.

[He smiles, looking down at his hand.]

Feel like I never have to worry about you saying something you don't mean.

I try not to. I like people to know they can trust me.

[He says it with all the affection in the world.]

So many people think they can get away with it, you know? I hate that.
