[It's been on his mind a lot over the last few weeks, the idea of becoming a vampire. Partially because he's looking older than Arthur these days, and if he lets that go on too long it's going to get pretty weird, but moreover he just feels ready]

[So he's been dealing with that a lot, pretending otherwise whenever Arthur notices him being distant or pensive so he can work out his feelings on this without any outside influence. He knows Arthur wouldn't be mad if he changed his mind, it's a huge change to undertake, but it's not that he might not want this so much as wondering if the risks are really worth it.]

[But now they need to talk about it, so Eames is psyching himself up to do exactly that. Offered to stay in and make dinner while Arthur's off doing his errands to give himself some time alone to think about it. Maybe making some significant progress on a bottle of wine to calm his nerves, maybe it'll slow him down enough Arthur won't realise how keyed up he is the second he gets home.]

[Eames makes a gently chiding noise against Arthur's skin and keeps pace. He's not trying to get Arthur off or anything, so he can wait a little to get something harder.]

[Arthur doesn't bother responding, humming happily (but still a little desperately) as he runs his hands over Eames' back instead. He thinks he could probably start now and be okay but Eames is really good at this part, it's probably best not to rush it.]

[It's been like two seconds, Eames just doesn't trust Arthur could take anything bigger than a sharpie comfortably right now.]

[It's not too much longer before he thinks it's probably been enough though, and Eames sits up to get that condom on. And maybe take a good, long look at Arthur while he's up there.]

[Arthur stares back up at him with the gaze of someone who wants to be looked at, almost as challenging as it is inviting. He glances down as Eames is putting the condom on but does manage to drag his attention back to Eames' face, hoping he at least understands how much he wants him at all times, how overwhelming that feeling is.]

[Eames doesn't fully know Arthur feels that way, not so intensely, but he'd understand if he did. If only because he feels exactly the same. Right now it's clear in his expression, the way he looks at Arthur like nothing in the world could make him look away.]

[He takes a moment just to make sure he's lined up properly, and then leans down over Arthur on an arm as he presses in.]

[Arthur gasps as Eames presses into him, hands on Eames' shoulders, fingers digging in just a little. It is a little bit tight but not too much and as Eames presses deeper Arthur lets out another soft moan.]

[Eames sighs and closes his eyes. It's late and he's had a lot to drink and that's catching up with him now. He pulls a face and starts kicking off his trousers to get properly comfortable.]
